This demo reel showcases the visual storytelling work of filmmaker and photographer Zhansaya Khaidarova, highlighting a blend of narrative, documentary, and artistic cinematography. Created during my studies at the Vancouver Film School, the reel presents my approach to composition, color, and movement, as well as my ability to capture emotion-driven moments both behind the camera and in collaborative production environments.
From atmospheric landscapes to intimate character-driven shots, each clip reflects my focus on authenticity, mood, and detail. The reel combines diverse projects—short films, visual experiments, commercial-style pieces, and creative photography—to demonstrate versatility across genres and styles.
